We take great pleasure to announce that Tata Medical Center, Kolkata is organizing The 3rd Annual Conference of the Society of Onco-Anaesthesia and Perioperative Care (SOAPC), SOAPCCON-2021 on 25th & 26th September 2021 through the virtual platform. On behalf of the SOAPCCON 2021 Organizing Committee, we eagerly look forward to welcome you all to this conference.

This is in continuation to the endeavour of SOAPC, started 3 years back and hope it will help specialists dealing in all aspects of Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Pain for cancer patients. The aim of the conference is to provide a forum for the delegates and academia to exchange ideas and present their research works. In addition, it is an ideal platform for interactions and to establish the all-important contacts with each other.

The scientific sessions are planned to include all areas of importance in Onco- Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Pain. It includes luminaries in the field, both national and international. Our faculty comprises of the most experienced teachers and renowned onco-anaesthesiologists from all over the country and abroad alongside a host of new generation speakers.

The scientific program is going to be a delight. We have a mix of lectures, pro and con sessions, focus sessions, video sessions and masterclasses. We have tried to cover the entire range of topics related to anaesthesia and critical care of cancer patients, as well as cancer pain. Hope you find the blend interesting and informative. The audience has a major role as majority of the scientific discussions are related to debates and interactive sessions with issues that we face in our day-to-day practice and their participation will go a long way in making these sessions highly interesting.

This time, the conference includes masterclasses in the morning followed by academic program. The poster session and video session will be conducted simultaneously in a parallel platform. We plan to publish the best papers in the Journal of Onco-Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine. The keynote speeches will be delivered by some of the most outstanding experts in our field.

The virtual platform will enable the global leaders of onco-anaesthesia and perioperative care to join the conference more than ever before. It will also enable the participants to adapt and tailor the scientific programme and networking opportunities to their own needs. Alongside a comprehensive scientific programme, the virtual platform provides unique opportunities to meet, collaborate and share experiences with a truly global network of onco anaesthesiologists.
